Sterling Silver Raku Earrings | Lampwork Beads

Handmade Raku Barrel Glass Beads

Handmade Raku Barrel Glass Beads

After I made these little cylinders, I kept them in a box on my work table. One day after they had been on my desk for a few weeks, I accidentally knocked over another box and a collection of Japanese Seed beads fell in beside the Raku cylinders. At first I was annoyed because I didn’t want to sort through the seed beads, but then I discovered a match, and the whole affair turned into a very nice accident.

Yes, the cylinder on the left is slightly larger than the one on the right. The one that is oh so smaller fits nicely on my one ear that is oh so slightly higher than its partner…a pair of unique earrings for a pair of unique ears.  ;)

Asymmetry in earrings a new fad! Love the colors Liz, and I bet they look lovely in your ears; now you have to find your kimono.
